Can I have an item special ordered?
Yes. If you don’t find an item at Dale Hardware, we can order from more than 70,000 items from Ace Hardware. If Ace Hardware doesn’t have it, we can also order items directly from the manufacturers featured in our store.
What credit cards do you accept?
Dale Hardware accepts MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express.
Is there a Dale Hardware credit card?
Dale Hardware does not offer a credit card itself, but we do offer charge accounts to qualifying businesses, self-employed individuals, and rental properties. At this time we do not offer individual/consumer charge accounts. You can download our Commercial Credit Application or come in and speak with one of our Business-to-Business team members in our DCIS office. When you complete your application, you can scan and email to info@dale-hardware.com, fax it to (510) 791-1255, or mail it to the address on the application.
What is your return policy?

Can I get a replacement receipt?
Yes. Simply ask for one at our Customer Service Counter.
How do I sign up for Ace Rewards?
There are two ways to sign up for an Ace Rewards Account:Complete a quick application with one of our cashiers at Dale Hardware. When you’re finished with the application, the cashier will activate the card with your purchase. This lets you begin to accumulate points immediately. You may also sign up online at Ace Hardware.com. Once you’ve completed the registration process and received your account number, you can use it on your next purchase.
How does the ACE Rewards program work?
It’s easy! You receive 1000 points just for completing the application. After that, you receive points every time you use your card when making a purchase. For every dollar you spend at Dale Hardware or any Ace Hardware, you receive ten points. You receive double points for Ace Red Hot Buys. For every 2,500 points you accumulate, you’ll receive a $5 Reward Card from Ace. You’ll receive extra reward cards for your birthday, special holidays and exclusive offers. You also have the opportunity to sign up for the Ace Rewards website, which lets you spend your points online.
Who do I contact with changes, comments or problems regarding Ace Rewards?
You can make changes by visiting the official Ace Rewards membership page. For questions concerning your Ace Rewards account, call customer service at (866) 290-5334. To update your account information, you can either call customer service at the same number or visit Dale Hardware.
How do I buy a Dale Hardware gift card?
You can purchase gift cards at Dale Hardware or order Ace Hardware gift cards online. Dale Hardware gift cards can only be used at Dale Hardware. Ace Hardware gift cards can be used at any Ace Hardware location in addition to online purchases.
Who do I contact regarding lost/stolen Dale or Ace Hardware gift cards or if I have a problem with my gift card?
